Privacy Policy for Days Until

 Days Until is a countdown app for Android. This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: it collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.

Information the app collects

None. Days Until does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in and no profile.

Information you enter

The events you create — their titles, dates, emojis, colours and notes — are saved in the app's own private storage on your device. They are readable only by Days Until. They are never uploaded, because the app has no way to upload anything.

If you have Android's own backup turned on, your device may include the app's saved events in the backup it makes to your Google account. That backup is handled by Android and your Google account settings, not by this app. You can turn it off in your phone's backup settings.

Internet access

The app does not request the INTERNET permission. It cannot make network connections of any kind. It requests no runtime permissions at all: no location, no contacts, no camera, no storage, no notifications.

Third-party services

There are none. Days Until contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party SDKs that collect data. It does not use an advertising ID.

Links out of the app

Two buttons on the About screen open another app: "Privacy policy" opens this page in your browser, and "Rate this app" opens the Google Play listing for Days Until. "Share app" hands text to whichever app you choose. Those apps have their own privacy policies.

Children

Days Until is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Delete individual events in the app, or remove everything at once by uninstalling it (or by clearing the app's storage in Android's app settings). Since nothing is stored anywhere else, that is the whole of it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
